The Creative Arts Festival exhibition at the National Evidence Summit (NES) brings together the most powerful creative submissions from young people aged 11–24 across the Western Area of Sierra Leone.
Each piece explores the lived experience of young people after crises — Ebola, COVID-19, mudslides — through creative disciplines ranging from visual arts and poetry to music, dance, drama, and digital media.
Selected participants present their work in 5–10 minute sessions, creating a space where creative expression meets evidence and policy dialogue. The exhibition is a core component of the After The End research project.
Works not selected for live presentation may still be featured in the online catalogue and on the Creative Arts Festival Instagram page (@creativeartsfest_sl).
