About the Exhibition
The Living Archive brings together original works by young people aged 11–24 from the Western Area Urban and Rural districts of Sierra Leone.
The pieces on show range from poetry and spoken word to drawing, painting, digital art, music, dance, drama and fashion. Each one records something its maker lived through, and what came after.
Shown together, they read less as a set of separate works than as a single account of a generation — one that is still being added to as new submissions arrive.
